Cost of Plans/Project Manual: $1,000.00 + S/H “PRIME CONTRACTORS MUST PURCHASE A COMPLETE BID SET.  HOWEVER, SUBCONTRACTORS MAY PURCHASE INDIVIDUAL PLAN SHEETS.” MANDATORY PRE-BID MEEETING: · May 31, 2012 at 10AM at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant, 6040 Vaca Station Road, Elmira, CA (Administration Building). · All prospective bidders are required to attend. Bidders who fail to attend will be considered non-responsive, and their bid will be rejected by the City. IMPORTANT NOTICE: · Only Bidders Pre-qualified by the City of Vacaville may bid on this project. Any bids from non-prequalified prime contractors will be considered non-responsive. In addition, any Subcontractor for the following work categories: Construction Staking, Electrical, Earthwork, Mechanical (process piping), Mechanical (plumbing). Mechanical (HVAC), Instrumentation, Paving, Structural Steel, and Structural Concrete whose subcontract equates to an amount in excess of one-half of one percent of the total bid must be pre-qualified. Any bids which include a non-prequalified Subcontractor whose subcontract equates to an amount in excess of one-half of one percent of the total bid for the work categories listed above will be considered non-responsive. THE FINAL LIST OF PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS IS AVAILABLE IN PLANWELL · Bidders are advised that this project is funded partially with State Revolving Funds and as such bidders must conform with the requirements of the SRF funds. Refer to the Project Manual for additional information. REFERENCE DRAWINGS: Record drawings of the treatment plant and copies of the plans for the EWWTP Tertiary Project - Denitrification Improvements that is currently under construction are available for review.
